Your First Visit

Your first visit, walked through.

Showing up somewhere new is its own small stressor — we’d rather you walk in already knowing what to expect. Here’s everything you need before, during, and after your first visit, so the only thing left to do is exhale.

A Walk-Through

Four steps. About 60–90 minutes.

01
Before Intake, what to wear, what to bring.
02
Arrive Parking, check-in, lounge.
03
During Guided session, start to finish.
04
After Let the work settle. Stay a while.
01 Before You Arrive

A little prep makes the visit better.

Complete your intake online

After you book, you'll receive an email with a short intake form covering basic medical history, current medications, and any conditions noted on our medical disclaimer page. Filling it out before you arrive saves time at the studio and helps us tailor your session.

If you have a condition that requires physician clearance, please send confirmation along with your intake.

What to wear

Comfortable, easy-to-change clothing. We provide robes and protective wear when needed.

  • Cryotherapy: protective wear provided
  • Sauna & red light: minimal clothing (provided)
  • Compression & hyperbaric: over your own clothes
  • Bring socks for the lounge
  • Skip heavy lotions, moisturizers, perfumes

What to bring

Yourself. We provide most of what you'll need — bring anything personal that helps you feel comfortable.

  • A water bottle if you have a favorite
  • Contact lens supplies if needed
  • Medications you take with food
  • That's really it

Eat & hydrate

Show up well-hydrated. Most therapies work better when your body is already hydrated.

  • Hydrate well before arriving
  • Eat normally — no need to fast
  • Skip heavy meals within 2 hours of cold
  • Skip alcohol before cold exposure
02 WHEN YOU ARRIVE

The first 15 minutes set the tone.

Parking & arrival

We recommend arriving 15 minutes before your scheduled session so you have time to change, settle into the lounge, and start your visit relaxed instead of rushed.

Check-in & the lounge

Our team will greet you, walk you through your therapies for the day, and show you the lounge — which is yours for the full duration of your visit, before and after your session.

Plan for 60–90 minutes total
03 During Your Session

You're never doing this alone.

Whichever therapy or combination you’ve booked, our team will guide you through it from start to finish. They’ll explain what you’re doing, what to expect physically, and how to make the most of it. Ask questions — it’s how you learn what works for your body.

"If anything feels uncomfortable or unsafe during a session, we stop. Listening to your body is part of the practice."

04 After Your Session

This is where the lounge earns its name.

Most therapies leave the body in an active recovery state — nervous system shifting, circulation moving, the parasympathetic side waking up. Rushing back to your day cuts the work short.

Stay 15 to 30 minutes if you can. Have water or a detox drink. Sit somewhere quiet. Let it settle.

Some people feel a bit tired the rest of the day, especially after their first session — that’s normal. Sleep that night is often the deepest part.

In the hours after, you might feel

Lighter
Calmer
More energized
More clear-headed
Deeply rested that night

Common Questions

First-visit FAQ.

We recommend arriving 15 minutes before your scheduled session. That gives you time to change, complete any remaining intake details, settle into the lounge, and start your visit relaxed instead of rushed.

Plan for 60–90 minutes total. Your actual therapy time varies by what you booked — cryotherapy is 2–3 minutes, sauna is 30–45 minutes, hyperbaric is typically 60 minutes. The rest of your time is intake, changing, and lounge time before and after.

We provide robes, slippers, towels, and water. Just bring yourself, comfortable clothing to change back into, and any medications you might need.

[Insert answer based on whether showers are available.]

[Insert parking specifics — lot, street, validation, accessibility.]

That's the most common scenario for first visits. Our team walks you through each therapy from start to finish — what you're doing, what to expect physically, and how to listen to your body. There's no need to know anything in advance.

Yes, though they'll need to book their own session if they want to use any therapies. Most therapies are individual sessions; the lounge is shared. If you and a friend both want to come, book separately or talk with our team about a guest pass option.

Please review our medical disclaimer and contraindications before booking, complete the intake form fully, and consult your physician if any condition listed there applies to you. Our team can't make medical decisions for you, but we can help you decide which therapies are reasonable to start with once you have your physician's input.
