Locust Valley, NY · North Shore Long Island

You're carrying more than you think.

Modern life loads your body with stress, environmental toxins, and inflammation it was never built to carry. Release is the place to put that burden down — and build the routines that put you back in control.

Section 02 · Name the Enemy

The burden you didn't know you were carrying.

Modern life loads the body in two directions at once.

From The Inside

Internal Load

The accumulation of chronic stress on body and mind.

From The Outside

External Load

The steady drip of exposures the body wasn’t built to filter.

And the body shows it.

Layered over years, the burden surfaces.

Fatigue Brain fog Slow recovery Stiffness Restless sleep Running warm
Section 03 · The Insight

Your body already knows how to heal.
The job is to let it.

Here’s what most of wellness misses: you don’t need more biohacks layered on top of an overloaded system.
The body was already designed to recover, repair, and self-heal — but only when the burden is low enough for it to do its job.

Stop adding more on top. Start clearing what’s underneath.

Section 04 · The Approach

Release. Repair. Rebuild.

Three pillars, working together. Each one supports the others.

Release

The stress, the tension, the load your nervous system has been holding for too long. Through breathwork, contrast therapies, and a calm space to actually downshift.

Repair

Your body is built to repair itself. Cryotherapy, sauna, oxygen, red light, and compression support those natural repair systems — and the inflammation modern life keeps adding.

Rebuild

The routines your body can rely on. Because consistency is what turns recovery into resilience — and resilience into control.

Section 05 · Why Inflammation

It's the headwind working against everything else.

Acute inflammation is healthy — it’s how the body defends, repairs, and resolves. The problem begins when inflammation gets stuck on.

Your body is designed to resolve inflammation. It has a built-in repair system that knows what to do — but it needs the right conditions to do it. That’s the work.

of deaths worldwide are linked to inflammation-driven conditions.

Section 06 · The Order Most Skip

The order most wellness brands skip.

Most recovery studios sell you the visible therapy — the cold plunge, the sauna, the red light. What they leave out is the order the body actually responds to. Each layer below sets up the next.

TOP LAYER

Cellular Repair

Red light, hyperbaric oxygen, compression. Same therapy, different result.

2
MIDDLE LAYER

Inflammatory Load

Cryotherapy, sauna, contrast therapy. Lower the headwind.

The Foundation

Nervous System

This isn’t a strict protocol — the research describes these systems as bidirectional and concurrent, not sequential. You don’t have to start at Layer 1 to start somewhere. But the more the foundation is in place, the more every layer above it compounds.

This isn’t a strict protocol. You don’t have to start at Layer 1 to come to Release. But the more you build the foundation, the more every other thing you do for your body actually lands.

"Most wellness brands sell you the third layer first. Release is built around the order the body actually responds to."

Section 08 · The Lounge

Recovery isn't a treatment.
It's a place to downshift.

What makes Release different is what happens around the therapies. A calm, low-stimulation lounge — a space to actually let the nervous system settle.

  • Guided breathwork before, during, or after
  • Curated healthy snacks and detox drinks
  • Warm light, plants, and time that’s yours
  • A space that isn’t asking anything of you

Section 10 · Our Story

Built by someone who wishes he'd started sooner.

Release was founded by Amit Malik, a healthcare consultant on the North Shore of Long Island. After being diagnosed with two blood cancers, he became deeply focused on inflammation, recovery, and the routines that support long-term health.

Release exists to share what he wishes he’d understood earlier — before his body forced the conversation.
